The World Health Organization opposes lifting the lockdown in Pakistan
The World Health Organization (WHO) opposes ending the lockdown in Pakistan. The virus is not eradicated in Pakistan, if the lockdown is removed, the virus can spread to dangerous levels. World Health Organization Director-General Tedros said in a briefing that countries that were locked down by the corona virus must take six precautions before it can be eradicated.

He said that before easing the lockdown, it should be ensured that the number of corona cases is decreasing and the transmission of the virus is under control. Tedros said governments must ensure that there are effective isolation wards, tests and treatment facilities for suspected patients before the lockdown is eased. He said that arrangements should be made to prevent the spread of corona virus in nursing homes and treatment areas.

The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) said that precautionary measures should be taken at workplaces, schools and other public places before the lockdown is lifted.
