Islamabad, May 09, 2020 : The internal story of the meeting between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen and Pervez Khattak has come to light. It is said that the distance between the Prime Minister and Jahangir Tareen has widened but now senior PTI leaders Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen have mobilized to bridge the differences.
Federal Minister Pervez Khattak called on Jahangir Tareen at his residence in Islamabad and conveyed the most important message of the Prime Minister. During the meeting, Jahangir Tareen expressed reservations and complained that a conspiracy was being hatched to discredit him. "I am very disappointed," he said.

Earlier, it was reported that Pervez Khattak was trying to arrange a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen.

Sources told online that Defense Minister Pervez Khattak is not important these days. He is not seen in the meeting but he is engaged in important meetings behind the scenes. Sources claimed that Jahangir Tareen had received a call from the Prime Minister's House recently and he was in Lahore at the time but as soon as he received the call he went to Islamabad. Sources said that the meeting between Pervez Khattak and Jahangir Tareen lasted for more than an hour in which Tareen openly complained and lost his services for Imran Khan which was admitted by Pervez Khattak and another minister who came with him. Pervez Khattak also told him that he would soon be able to arrange a meeting with his Prime Minister Imran Khan, so he was not willing to say anything in the media until then.
