Lahore, May 12, 2020 : Senior journalist Arif Hameed Bhatti has revealed that there is talk of summoning Prime Minister Imran Khan in the Sugar Commission of Inquiry and there is a difference of opinion in the investigative team in this regard. He said that his investigation has entered an interesting phase.
He said that the commission includes DG FIA, DG Anti-Corruption and Intelligence Bureau officer Ahmed Kamal. He further said that the officials include subordinate teams of FBA, FIA and anti-corruption. Revealing about the appearance of PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi before the Commission of Inquiry, Arif Hameed Bhatti said that perhaps Khaqan Abbasi contacted Nawaz Sharif before his appearance and said that now is the time to grill the Prime Minister. ۔
The senior journalist said that perhaps Khaqan Abbasi had appeared and presented documents related to the Prime Minister. He had demanded the commission to summon him for questioning. However, the investigation team has been divided in summoning the Prime Minister. Mubashir Luqman has said that the Prime Minister has decided to hand over the inquiry into the flour crisis to the NAB. Jahangir will be someone else's guest after Eid.
