According to the police, the taxi driver was also posing a threat to other vehicles and human lives by performing dangerous car stunts on the main highway. The accused has been arrested after his video went viral on social media. The accused violated traffic rules and regulations and posed a threat to other human lives, which led to his arrest. Brigadier Ali Rashid al-Yamahi, director of the Traffic and Patrols Department of Fujairah Police, said the vehicles of 47 youths were confiscated for traffic violations and dangerous vehicle tricks. Each driver was fined 2,000 dirhams for such violations and black points were also registered. Some of the vehicles confiscated had extensive engine and body changes.

However, even before the National Day celebrations, important instructions regarding the traffic code of conduct were issued by the police.
