PolicSharjah (May 26, 2020) A taxi driver has been arrested for performing a dangerous car stunt on Sharjah's main highway. According to Gulf News, a video went viral on social media yesterday in which a taxi driver was performing a dangerous car stunt on Emirates Road. Police have arrested the taxi driver just three hours after the video went viral on social media.
According to the police, the taxi driver was also posing a threat to other vehicles and human lives by performing dangerous car stunts on the main highway. The accused has been arrested after his video went viral on social media. In this video, other people are also seen sitting in the car of the accused, who is making a lot of noise from the car by scratching the tires.


The accused violated traffic rules and regulations and posed a threat to other human lives, which led to his arrest. The accused has been handed over to the public prosecution for further legal action. It should be noted that even on the occasion of National Day in the UAE, the police arrested the youths who were performing car stunts on the roads. The vehicles were confiscated and various fines were also imposed.
Brigadier Ali Rashid al-Yamahi, director of the Traffic and Patrols Department of Fujairah Police, said the vehicles of 47 youths were confiscated for traffic violations and dangerous vehicle tricks. Each driver was fined 2,000 dirhams for such violations and black points were also registered. Some of the vehicles confiscated had extensive engine and body changes.
And many young people have decorated their cars more than they should. However, even before the National Day celebrations, important instructions regarding the traffic code of conduct were issued by the police. But many young people did not follow them, which got them into trouble and their vehicles were stopped for fifteen days, 20 days, 30 days or 60 days.
The engines of many vehicles were modified to make a lot of noise, which caused a lot of mental anguish to the people. Some youths were caught driving without a license.
