Corona virus: Pakistani-born doctor and health worker killed by code 19 in UK

The number of doctors killed by the corona virus so far is 31, most of them from the Middle East and Africa, according to figures from the National Health Service (NHS).
According to the British Medical Council, the Association of Pakistan Physicians of Northern Europe (APPNE) and local media, 31 NHS-linked doctors have died of the corona virus so far. Among them, the number of doctors of Pakistani origin and Indian origin is six, six respectively.

Thus, a large ethnic group among the NHS staff killed among the Beams (ie, people belonging to black, Asian, or other minority groups) is Filipinos.
The APNE and the British Medical Association called for an investigation into the high number of deaths among staff called the NHS Beam, which the APNE said the government had set up a high-powered commission. It has been set up under the leadership of Dr. Habib Naqvi, but its terms of reference have not been formulated yet.

According to figures compiled by various doctors' organizations with the help of local media and BMA, the total number of deaths from the corona virus in the UK so far has reached around 30,000. The death toll from Corona is estimated at 174, including doctors and nurses.
According to APPNE spokesman Dr. Shabi Ahmed, the total number of deaths in the United States is close to 70,000, while the total number of doctors, nurses and paramedics killed in Corona is 30. "This suggests that the number of paramedic deaths in the UK is higher than in any other country."
Dr Shabi Ahmed attributed the high number of health-related deaths in the UK to the unavailability of Personal Protection Equipment (PPS) and the failure to issue timely guidelines.
"Especially local GPs have not been provided with masks at all and no guidelines have been formulated for them so far."

According to various doctors' associations in the UK, blacks, Asians and other minorities make up 15 per cent of the country's population, compared to 35 per cent in the NHS. This is more than 50% in big cities like London and Birmingham.
