The death toll in Pakistan is 68 while 736 people are recovering.
Of the dead, 22 are from Sindh, 22 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 18 from Punjab, three from Gilgit-Baltistan and two from Balochistan, while one has been killed in the capital Islamabad.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah said in a statement released on Friday that the number of patients receiving resuscitation is 358, which is 30% of the total patients. He said that his sister-in-law Syed Mehdi Shah passed away yesterday due to Corona.

Thus, the total number of deaths due to corona in the province has increased to 22, which is 1.8% of the total number of patients.

The Chief Minister while giving details of his sister-in-law, said that Syed Mehdi Shah was 52 years old and his corona test came out positive on March 28.

According to Murad Ali Shah, two of Mahdi Shah's tests came in negative but due to corona, his lungs appeared to have problems with him and other organs, leading to his death.

The Chief Minister said that the hospital did not declare Mahdi Shah a coroner's patient, yet he was buried in the manner of the person killed as a result of Mahdi Shah's corona virus.

Chief Minister Sindh once again appealed to the people to stay in their homes, keep proper distance from each other, and play their part in protecting the lives of themselves, their family and friends.                                                                                                     punjab                                                                                           According to a Punjab Health Department Punjab statement, 56 new victims of Corona virus have been exposed in Punjab in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of victims to 2280 in the province.

According to the spokesman, Primary and Secondary Healthcare Punjab, the details of the victims are as follows:

Visitors: 700

Preaching Society: 696

Prisoner: 80

General citizens: 804

Corio virus has been confirmed in DG Khan, 220 pilgrims, 457 in Multan and 23 in Faisalabad.

So far 18 deaths have been reported from Corona virus in the province while 39 have recovered.

The statement further said that 31 thousand 535 tests have been conducted across Punjab till last day.
